Or will her wild fairy heritage and a magical dress finally win her true happiness?
A Cinderella retelling as a historical romance with a touch of fairytale magic and a happily ever after ending.
Dance of Hearts is a quick read, short story romance that is clean and sweet. Perfect for fans of Georgette Heyer’s Regency romances, but who want a dash of fairy magic with their tea and cake.

Review:
*I was given an e-arc by the author in exchange for an honest review*
I absolutely adored this Cinderella retelling! It’s a magical novella that’s part fairytale, part Jane Austen, and was just what I needed.
Melinda Wychwood is a delightful main character. She’s managed to stay at her family home after her father’s death, but has to work as her cousin’s housekeeper without pay. She’s spent the past 6 years arranging dinner parties, planning meals, and making sure everything is just so at the Grange, Chipping-Worth. She’s smart, beautiful and witty. I love how despite her circumstances, she remains true to herself.
A childhood friend arrives back in town, Alexander Kaye Arundell and his companion, Theodore Marlowe with a duplicitous plan of their own. Will their plan work, or will they find themselves in quite the predicament?
Melinda soon must decide if she’ll be satisfied playing the role of chaperone to her cousin, Miss Davenport, or if she’ll risk giving herself a chance at true happiness.
A quick, sweet read that you won’t want to miss! I’m excited for the next Novella in her Romantic Fairytales collection.
About the Author:
Reading fantasy and living in imaginary worlds made the childhood of Byrd Nash enjoyable despite parents angry about overdue fines for library books.
After gaining a B.A. in journalism, creative writing in Oklahoma during the year of the oil bust and 21% unemployment, she pursued a journalism career. Working as a reporter and editor justified her nosy fascination about what made people tick.
Her careers included being a museum director, horseback riding instructor, kid’s party planner, and a manager of a veterinarian’s office. However, she always returned to her first love of writing stories, dreaming up characters, impossible situations, and fascinating lands of fantasy.
Her interests include having a wicked sense of humor that is inappropriate during most times, reading mysteries from the Golden Age, watching historical dramas, and staying out of mushroom circles during her forest walks.
